We have already written many times about Istanbul and its beauties, but this article is dedicated to all those who travel to Istanbul, and are affraid they will be hungry. First of all, this will never happen, because if there is a place in the world where you can enjoy numerous gastronomic delicacies 24/1, it is Istanbul. What we need to note at the beginning of the article is that kebab, in fact, literally means meat, not a dish. Dana kebab is beef meat, Tavuk Kebab is chicken meat, Shish kebab is meat on a stick, izgara kebab is grilled meat and so on… So don’t expect a wrapper with thinly sliced ​​meat like the one you would get in Germany and other european countries.

1. The House Caffe, Ortokoy

This restaurant is located right on the shores of the Bosphorus and provides a truly unforgettable experience. There is nothing better than relaxing with a glass of wine and deliciously prepared meals. Of course, the food is delicious, and traditional Turkish dishes are on the menu. After a meal, try the San Sebastian cake with a real cup of Turkish coffee. To get to the restaurant, you have to climb up the hill with a cable car that offers one of the most beautiful views of the Halic neighbourhood, as well as the surrounding area.

3. Rooftop restaurant at Wyndham Grand Istanbul Kalamis Marina Hotel

Indulge in the delicious flavors of traditional Turkish dishes, Western cuisine or cuisine from the far East. 4. Sushico, a chain of restaurants throughout the city

Sushico restaurants are located all over Istanbul, and you will find them in almost every neighborhood. Try their Bento menus, which bring you several different dishes on a plate at a price of around 5-9 eur.
