Outside the capital, Czechia becomes quieter and more varied. Brno has a confident food and cultural scene; Olomouc brings baroque streets and a slower rhythm; Český Krumlov and Kutná Hora suit history-focused trips, while the Šumava, Krkonoše and Bohemian Paradise offer marked trails, forests and viewpoints. Regional trains and buses make independent travel straightforward.
